Leo Kottke Miami Concert reviews
Well worth it!
"Leo Kottke's band did not arrive on stage until 8:40, even though the concert was supposed to start at 7:30. The warm-up band was alright, but played until 8:15 or so. Leo played until 10:20 approximately after 1 encore. He was very cordial with the audience, roaming through the aisles during one song, and talked openly/candidly with the audience which was great! It was enjoyable to hear him play most of his hits from most albums, especially "Forever Blue" album, and his band play exceptionally well. Leo made all of the audience feel welcome and appreciated, being down to earth. The highlight story was when he told about meeting all of the greats that he idolized: Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Roy Orbison. Leo even played several cover songs of each of these artists!"
